MORITA JOINS ONO ON THE RAINBOW IN THE SKY

M.M.Delight, Morita, dearly cheerished friend, video jock, event organiser and general father figure to the party scene in Japan, passed away yesterday. It is a huge loss to a gracious person who radiated encouraging warmth to dance party participants and younger event organisers, with the motto: "free mind with smile".

He joins close colleague, sound egineer guru, Shiro Ono, on 'the rainbow on the sky', who passed away in 2004.

 

ELECTRO TOKYO FUTURO

Will screen Manga Mad - Tokyo Otaku & Tokyo Techno Tribes as a VJ projection with a DJ set @ Favela, Aoyama, Tokyo; July 4th, Fri mid-night till 6 am.

Full Moon April 20th Party Cancelled

The dance party (mentioned in Posivision), Full Moon April 20th, that I was to be involved with, unfortunately has be cancelled.

Cherry Blossom Season

The resplendent bloom of sakura (cherry blossoms) herald the beginning of the new season. Petals burst into a radiant white-pink and scatter like celebratory confetti, as hanami (eating/drinking partying) underneath the  trees arouses spring passion in Japan.

Highly recommended !

Best fun, innovative, creative, entertaining, imaginative, participatory- party, I know of these days. All other party formats/style/formula are very square and tired compared to what Tokyo Decadance offers.

I'll be dishing up a phat, dirty, funky, electro, sex-o-delic, dance set there.

Performing @ Splore Party on the beach. Back to the artistic whanau in Auckland, NZ. Pohutakawa trees and PA by the water. A very free form, artistically pluralistic event, akin to 'Burning Man' spirit; produced by my old time friend, Amanda Wright.
